Greetings Earthlings!
Something fun happened the other day: I was informed that my art appeared in an actual film— a contemporary Western movie called “Broke” directed by Carlyle Eubank starring Wyatt Russell and Dennis Quaid.
I watched the film, and it’s fantastic! I love the cinematography and the bronco riding. That’s some dangerous stuff! Anyway, a few of my prints appeared in the gallery scene—a turning point for the protagonist. It’s pretty short, but it was surreal/fun for me to see major celebrities, Auden Thornton and Wyatt Russell, smile when they saw my Western alien art in the gallery. Wild!
I vaguely remember Caitlin Eubank reaching out about the movie and ordering a few prints to appear in the film years ago, during the pandemic, I think, and when she reached out with the news that my art was in their movie, I seriously thought they had mistaken me for a different artist, haha.
