I am Mark Rogers, a narrative artist crafting an ongoing visual chronicle of a fictional 1850s frontier. This surreal, breakaway civilization is populated by cactus witches, crystal wizards, gold-eating immortal aliens, and a host of paranormal creatures. Drawing inspiration from medieval art, UFOlogy, history museums, and classic folklore, my work explores the bizarre moments when humanity makes contact with the supernatural.
