“The Cactus Garden” 2025-2026
This series tells the story of Pinkney Dill , a master gardener leading a tidy and serene life, who one day discovers an extraordinary saguaro in his front yard--a saguaro that gives birth to a powerful resurrected extraterrestrial who forces Pinkney’s sedate life and tidy garden into chaos.
“Summoner and Scribe” 2025
The Summoner and Scribe series, which tells the story of Benjamin Mortimer, a melancholy young lad who gives up on his dream of being an author of children’s tragedies to take a good-paying but unsatisfying job as a scribe for a Master Occultist…who specializes in the summoning of demons.
“The Crystal Collectors” 2024-2025
This was a 11-painting dream-commission project. I am calling the project, “The Crystal Collectors”. I was hired to illustrate a look-book for Wilensky Exquisite Minerals for a show they were having at the 2026 Tucson Gem and Mineral Festival. I was charged with creating scenes that featured my weird creatures along with their actual crystal specimens. This project was so cool and fun for me to work on. I love crystals! So, I decided to write a loose narrative for the series in which a pair of benevolent 9th-density, Arctician Crystal Merchants voluntarily lowered their vibrational energies to appear in the Southwestern Bellows to trade and sell crystals….crystals the people of the land badly need, even if they have yet to realize it. Getting meta about it, this was an art show about aliens selling crystals to collectors in an imaginary land that would be exhibited at a real life crystal market.
“On the Trail” 2024-2025
This series tells the story of a group of pioneers headed west to follow the gold rush, only to be spirited away to a new world by nonhuman entities. This is an origin story for my fantasy world, the Southwestern Bellows.
“The Mentorship Program” 2023
According to the journal of the late salesman Ballard Diffenback, he traveled to Temple Island on behalf of the Telegraph Cookie Company in hopes of selling snack subscriptions to the extraterrestrials who dwelled there. Unfortunately, the health-conscious Pleiadians deplored cookies and sugary treats of any kind.

“The Gorgowrath” 2023
For an entire summer, the people of Tortoise Hill were tormented by a demon calling himself, the Gorgowrath. It was said that Gorgowarth forced the townsfolk of Tortoise Hill to sew him elegant casual wear and when they ran out of materials, he kicked apart their homes and squished the citizens under his giant boots.

“The Grand Recital” 2022
After witnessing the extraterrestrial abduction of his sister, Oren Mawson, purveyor of fine crystals, enlists the Southwestern Bellows’ most famous wizard, Haxm Forehand, to rescue her.
Note: Guitar (rock and roll/metal stuff mostly) has been a life-long love/hobby of mine, but during the pandemic I began a daily classical guitar practice routine—more suitable to the solitary state of that strange time than electric. This series was very inspired by my dedication to the classical guitar, which I still continue to practice to this day.

“The Summerland Incident” 2021-2022
Newlyweds, Zola and Grainville Summerland take a trip to visit Grainville’s brother, Rosco, only to find him missing, and his house plagued with a wide variety of disturbing supernatural occurrences along with the proliferation of odd mushrooms. With no alternatives, the couple decide to hire paranormal investigator, Hattie Hibbs, to take on the case.

“Alanzo and the Cactus Witch” 2020-2021
My first attempt at truly weaving a narrative into my painting process, “Alanzo and the Cactus Witch” tells the tale of a sweet but dimwitted-boy who is apprenticed to Witch who specializes in the making cactus-based potions, poisons and mystical drugs. Along the way, Alanzo experiences first hand the special relationship the Cactus Witch has with the aliens that dwell in the nearby mountains.
